Hogwarts might be done and dusted for some of you, however, did you really do everything you could during your time there? School's out, but it doesn't have to be over.

Fans who are still as passionate about Hogwarts Legacy now as they as they were when it first launched, are finding ways to keep the game interesting, and it's all thanks to a "secret mode". We know that the summer update is headed our way, but given the fact it's likely going to reveal more details about the delayed DLC, we're not holding out hope for lots of new content. Therefore, we need to make our own fun.

Magic Awaits in Hogwarts Legacy

This newly discovered free mode comes from the minds of the fans, not the devs. It isn't something you need to unlock by playing the game a certain number of times, but it does work similar to how a New Game Plus does in that it changes how you play.

The 'First Year Challenge' is a fantastic way to test your skills as both a gamer and as a wizard – can you follow these strict follows and make it to the end of the school year? Each House has a different set of 'exceptions', meaning that you could play this mode several times over and get different outcomes; suddenly, the lack of replayability doesn't seem too much of an issue.

Fans are sold on the idea, praising the challenge for being the content they're "still here for", as well as congratulating the OP for their "creative" ideas.

We know we're a long way off before we get another Hogwarts Legacy game, and we also know that the "inevitable backlash" will come (no judgement, the games are littered with unfortunate connections to a certain someone), making this option the ideal way to keep the magic alive while we wait.

Sometimes, the only way to progress in school is to resit a year...
