Soon, you can play one of the most highly anticipated horror games of 2026 for free, and we’ll let you know how.
Without question, horror is my favourite genre, whether it's video games or TV and film. I can never get enough of some spooky goodness. Specifically, supernatural horror, especially when it involves evil spirits, is my jam, which is why I can’t wait for this upcoming remake.
Being a huge fan of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, the remakes from Capcom and Bloober Team have been an absolute joy, bringing classic horror games into a new generation, offering something fantastic for new and returning fans alike.

“This Japanese-style horror adventure game follows twin sisters who become lost in an abandoned village haunted by vengeful spirits. Using the Camera Obscura—a device that can capture and seal away the impossible—they fight ghosts as the story unfolds,” reads the synopsis of the remake

Very few horror games have made the hairs on the back of my neck stand, and this is one of them. The series has an interesting gameplay mechanic of battling ghosts with the Camera Obscura. Trust me, that’s far more interesting than it sounds.
The upcoming remake of Fatal Frame II is built from the ground up and is powered by Team Ninja’s Katana Engine. The remake is said to have a complete overhaul of its gameplay, controls, visuals and audio.
