March has come and gone, and we’re getting ready to settle into another month of video games.
The list of new games coming out in April 2026 is large, featuring the arrival of a long-awaited life simulation alongside several RPGs and strategy titles. A big Xbox exclusive will also be arriving on PlayStation 5.

The Best Games To Play In April 2026
In terms of what we’d personally pick out for the best games to play in April 2026, the biggest release of the month is certainly Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.
This upcoming life simulation game is a continuation of the Tomodachi Life series, where players create Miis to populate a small town and can form relationships with them and complete various tasks.
Meanwhile, Capcom’s upcoming android babysitter game Pragmata is also coming later on in the month, which is shaping up to be an interesting action-adventure.
If you're a fan of Bethesda games but only have a PlayStation 5, you'll also be able to pick up Starfield at long last from next week. The game's new expansion titled Terran Armada will also be released for all platforms.
Finally, Saros for the PlayStation 5 is coming at the very end of April. Made by Returnal studio Housemarque, the game appears to be a spiritual successor that is ticking all the right boxes.
The game stars Rahul Kohli as an enforcer investigating a lost off-world colony on the planet Carcosa, and combines bullet hell, third-person shooter, and roguelike elements.
