If you’re a Hogwarts Legacy fan, the PC platform is the place to be.

Fair to say, those of us on console are practically starved of new content.

Last year’s summer update didn’t provide much to satiate our appetite for something new.

Certainly, the Photo Mode is nice if you’re into that sort of thing but the cosmetics didn’t exactly change the game in any way.

Yes, the update added the ‘Haunted Hogsmeade’ quest to PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, but that didn’t scratch the new content itch for those of us on PlayStation.

Could that rumoured director’s cut be real? You’d expect so given that it was the oft reliable Jason Schreier of Bloomberg who broke the news.

Until something arrives to entertain us though, we’ll have to forlornly look on as our PC counterparts have all the fun.

The game recently welcomed the PC modding support update and, of course, there are plenty of incredible mods already out there.

‘Azkaban’ is one of them, and it completely changes the nature of the game.

Enjoy a tour of Hogwarts’ four house common rooms below.

Created by NexusMods user nathdev, ‘Azkaban’ adds somewhat of a morality system.

As I’m sure you’re aware, in the vanilla game, using the unforgivable curses has no consequence other than perhaps NPCs giving you the cold shoulder.

If you install ‘Azkaban’ though, using Avada Kedavra, Imperius, or Cruciatus will secure you a life sentence in Azkaban.

The use of such spells will prompt an NPC to summon the Ministry of Magic who’ll swiftly arrest you for your crimes.

Only Ominis and Sebastian will not dob you in.

You are, however, prevented from maiming students and teachers. It’s only those in Hogwarts' open-world who you can subject to such an awful fate.

How do you escape Azkaban?

Well, you’ll have to revert to a previous save file. A life sentence is a life sentence, there’s no waltzing around that.

You can download the mod for free from NexusMods right now. You better be on your best behaviour.
