GTA 6 release date has fans super hyped as they realise we've less than a year to go

Plenty of rumours would have you believe GTA VI will be delayed, but Rockstar Games’ parent company is having none of it.

GTA VI will easily be one of the biggest games of 2025 regardless of whether it lives up to the hype or not.

After years of waiting and theorising, GTA fans simply want to see more than a single trailer about the game.

The lack of content has led some to worry that delays will push back GTA VI’s launch date.

Take-Two Interactive is attempting to shut down such speculation, with its latest conference summary emphasising this fact.

Among the topics discussed was the launch date of the next game, which, as shared on Reddit, “remains on track for a Fall 2025”.

Seeing this in black and white is having the effect you’d expect it to have – fans are super hyped.

It could be argued that they already were, but even if that’s the case, this news has helped push them further over the edge.

“Second trailer dropping next month a year after the first one, I'm calling it,” posted DehMoreira on the GTA VI subreddit.

We’ve only seen one trailer, yet the fandom has big hopes for the experience.

“Bro GTA VI will hold me over for the rest of my life,” remarked DesperateRocco.

Multiple fans are feeling the same way.

“Next year is shaping up to be an all timer [...] Shits going to be crazy haha,” replied johncitizen69420.

Rockstar’s upcoming game has a lot of expectations to live up to. If it falters in any way, the fans will attack like feral dogs.

But that’s a worry for next year.
