Skyrim players will soon be able to enjoy a completely new way to play the game thanks to this mod that puts Dishonored-style gameplay into the game.
A modder that goes by the name of Tanner has shared a few videos to their YouTube channel over the past few days, showing off their upcoming mod which puts Dishonored powers and movement into Skyrim as a native mod.
At the moment, it only exists as a proof of concept, but Tanner hopes to have the mod enter alpha stage soon for those who want to try it for themselves.
Mods that mashup two or more games have been all the rage lately thanks to new AI tools released recently which allow modders to do this. While these mashups have been dismissed by the gaming community as âvibecoded slopâ, Tanner shared in a previous video that this mod isnât that, and is running natively in Skyrim.
Skyrim meets Dishonored at last in this brand new mod
The latest video takes place in Solitude, where the player character stands on a rooftop brandishing Corvo Attanoâs iconic folding blade and Outsiderâs Mark. The video then shows them jumping off the building and breaking the fall by stabbing a guard down below.

We then see the character using the power Blink to zip around the rooftops of Whiterun, before they engage in combat against some guards.
The video also demonstrates a few more of Corvoâs powers being used in Skyrim. The player uses Devouring Swarm to summon a load of rats that attack the guards, as well as Windblast that sends out a shockwave that knocks guards over and temporarily stuns them.
We end the video by catching a glimpse of the player using Bend Time to freeze all enemies in their tracks, so they can kill them one-by-one without them reacting.

As we said earlier, this doesnât appear to be a vibe-coded passthrough mod which basically runs two games on top of each other and combines the results (for example, putting the gameplay of Minecraft into GTA V).
Tanner says that this is running as a native mod inside Skyrim, and this isnât the first mod of this type that theyâve created.
The modder is also working on a mod which replaces Skyrimâs movement system with the locomotion, animations and physics from the original Assassinâs Creed. Theyâve also got a mod which adds Mirrorâs Edge-style movement into the game as well.
Altogether, it seems that Tanner is pretty keen to add all manner of movement styles and gameplay from Xbox 360-era games into Skyrim. As for the Dishonored mod, it seems to just be the first gameâs powers that are available for now, but itâs possible that future updates could also bring in abilities from Dishonored 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.
