Bethesda is teasing another map expansion for Fallout 76, and the concept art looks wild.

Fallout 76 has come a long way since its initial release. The RPG was riddled with bugs and glitches at launch, and not fun ones, game-breaking ones, and while the open world was huge and very pretty it was also empty and not satisfying to explore.

The Fallout live-action TV show is set to launch next year, check out the trailer below!

After several post-launch updates, it’s finally worth playing, even more popular than Starfield, and there’s still more to come. Bethesda recently posted its next entry in the Inside the Vault blog post series, sharing new details on what’s coming to the game next year, including a huge map expansion, a new vault to explore and some freaky weather conditions.

The image shared confirms players will embark on Shenandoah National Park, a new location housing its own dangers and secrets.

In the image shared on the blog post, we can see a signpost for the park and an enormous stretch of land with a building in the middle. Above the building is an ominous death cloud that looks like it’s been ripped straight out of Stranger Things, and it’s firing a red beam into the roof of the building.

Adding further mystery to the post, the door of a never-before-seen vault, Vault 63, can be spotted sticking out of the ground. Vault 63 has been a source of confusion for players throughout the game’s lifespan, as it is in the game, but can’t be accessed by any normal means.

Given how several vaults in the Fallout universe house plenty of spooky secrets, fans have driven themselves mad theorising what could be inside, and it now seems like we’re going to find out.

The developers were understandably cryptic about what’s in store for Fallout 76 players, though we don’t have too long to wait as the new DLC expansion will drop sometime during Spring next year.
