Fallout's future officially confirmed, and fans are hyped

As if I could get anymore hyped

The next entry in the series isn’t even out yet, but we already have confirmation that a brand new entry in the Fallout universe is on its way.

Although we still don’t know exactly what Bethesda’s plans are for the next Fallout video game, we do know what Amazon’s plans are for the Fallout TV show.

Even though the second season of the Fallout TV show isn’t even out yet, Amazon has already announced that a third season has been greenlit.

“We are absolutely thrilled that our global Prime Video customers will be able to delve deeper into the wonderfully surreal and captivating world of Fallout,” stated Amazon MGM Studios’ head of television, Vernon Sanders (per Variety).

“Together with our amazing partners at Bethesda Games and Bethesda Softworks, we are delighted to announce a third season of Fallout, well ahead of the much-anticipated debut of Season Two.”

We played snog, marry, irradiate with the cast last year.

Over on Film Updates’ Twitter post detailing the news, fans are extremely excited to hear that Amazon already has so much faith how the second season of the show is shaping up.

“Oh they know season 2 straight heat, even The Boys didn’t get renewed this fast,” commented user @surerightnever.

“Getting renewed for a new season while the current season is still in production really confirms everything I felt about this show,” replied user @OpinionSlump.

Any TV series getting a season greenlit before the next season is even out yet is an extremely good sign, but it’s especially good to hear it in this case.

The second season of Fallout is promising a lot, especially considering we’ll be returning to New Vegas. I don’t think any of us assumed that the first season was a fluke, but it’s pretty common to see a great TV show suddenly go to pot out of nowhere *cough* Game of Thrones *cough*.

Didn’t think I could be any more excited to watch the second season, but somehow this has dialled my hype up to 11.
