Fallout heads to a brand-new setting in new free download, available now

Fallout fans can explore a brand-new city in a new major free download, available now on all platforms.

One of the very best things about the Fallout series is exploring the ruins of various American cities, seeing how different parts of the US adapted to life after the bombs. Whether you're trudging through Boston or surviving in the Mojave Desert, Bethesda has given us some memorable worlds to explore.

Take a look at Fallout 76 in all its glory below!

The latest iconic location to get the Fallout treatment is none other than Atlantic City. The crown jewel of New Jersey (impossible to say that without sounding sarcastic) is now available to explore in Fallout 76. Many of you might still be reeling from Fallout 76's messy launch, but I can promise you it's grown into a fantastic game, and this latest free update sounds like a blast.

"Now available free for all players across all platforms, Atlantic City - Boardwalk Paradise brings a new premier destination to the wasteland, offering thrilling entertainment, scenic coastal views and new expedition challenges," a press release reads. "Players can now venture out to Atlantic City to complete new missions while helping to maintain the balance of power and earn rewards."

This new expansion introduces two new locations: The Neapolitan Casino, and The Boardwalk. As you explore these areas, you'll be able to work with new factions, such as The Showmen and The Family, and fight new enemies: The Overgrown and the Lesser Devil.

Boardwalk Paradise is also the start of Fallout 76’s Season 15: The Big Score. The press release explains that "players can risk it all on the boardwalk and play their way through the ranks and become a high roller collecting unique rewards." Sounds like an interesting twist, if you're feeling lucky.
