Fallout fans praise surprise new release

We love it when a surprise release exceeds our expectations.

Let’s face it, as gamers, we’re pretty unforgiving with our opinions. If something doesn’t sit right with us, we make sure the whole world knows about it.

Fortunately, this new Fallout release has cut the mustard.

The new release we speak of is a game before you accuse us of leading you on, it just isn’t the type of game we’re used to seeing from Fallout.

Instead of shooting mutants using a controller, you’ll being building the Red Rocket Truck Stop with Mega Bloks.

There’s even a miniature Dogmeat included, which is easily the best part of this build.

One happy gamer shared their set on Reddit, and in a shock twist for the site, not everyone was an ass about it.

Even those who don’t like the set remarked on how they’d like to see more Fallout inspired creations in the future.

“Not a fan of how buff the sole survivor looks, but Dogmeat and the power armour are okay. I have mixed feelings about Mega, but the marbled plastic really helps to emulate the wasteland vibe,” posted James_the_Third.

They added, “Hope they do more. I’d love to see a Diamond City Market set.”

As much as we’d like to see such a set as well, we don't love the thought of having to build such a substantially sized location from the foundations up (get it? Because it's tiny bricks).

Purchasing the Red Truck Stop set will set you back $80, which isn’t exactly a small sum of money.

That being said, plenty of LEGO sets cost staggeringly more, so I guess it comes down to how badly you want your very own pocket sized Dogmeat.

For those not looking to become a master builder, you can always check out this free PS5 download instead.

It’s a combination of Fallout meets No Man’s Sky meets BioShock. That’s a lot of franchises to bring together, yet it does it very well.

Regardless of which experience you opt for, you won’t be able to escape the hold that Fallout has on us.
