Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is out now, with many believing it to be the perfect swan song for one of the most controversial releases in recent memory. We played it, and can safely say it’s one of the best expansions we’ve ever played.

It’s no secret Cyberpunk 2077 was a disaster at launch, but almost all of its issues have been fixed following several post-launch updates, including the recent 2.0 Update, which completely changed the game for the better.

As new and returning players start their journeys in Night City, CD Projekt Red is giving fans the chance to claim some stylish accessories for their characters, unfortunately, it’s causing a lot of confusion in how the rewards are actually claimed.

Instructions were shared via an official website featuring the promotion, which said “Watch Twitch creators play Cyberpunk 2077 for an opportunity to claim exclusive clothing items and support your favourite streamers to unlock a unique weapon for Phantom Liberty!”

The promotion was shared on Reddit by nighthawkys, though users are confused as to how they can actually claim their freebies, as there’s no option to connect your Steam, Xbox or PlayStation accounts.

“Can't link your steam account?”

“On the title of the post is written (xbox/ps) but how to get the itens on consoles?”

“How would one go about having these applied to their Xbox accounts? It appears to only link to GOG/Steam?”

It’s a shame it’s causing so much confusion because the rewards themselves are pretty cool. Players who meet the promotion’s requirements can claim parts of the NUS Infiltrator set, which boasts some sweet leather threads and an awesome helmet. If you support one of the Twitch creators taking part in the promotion, you can also receive the Yasha Sniper Rifle.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is available right now for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
