The number one rule for an open-world RPG is having a map that is full with plenty to interact with, and Cyberpunk 2077 has that in spades.
Featuring random events, iconic locations, and a map packed to the brim with things to do, it is no wonder that Night City is one of the most memorable settings in video game history.
Now thanks to one creator, Cyberpunk 2077 is about to feel more alive than ever before thanks to a free downloadable mod that aims to add small immersive encounters to the map.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ghosts of Night City is a brand-new mod from NexusMods creator CCLordShen.
“A series of five small, but immersive, lore-friendly scenes scattered throughout Night City — shrines, mental breakdowns, a camp, and forgotten corners that tell the quiet stories of those the city chewed up and left behind,” the description reads.
Each encounter will focus on telling a story which ties in with the lore already included by CD Projekt RED and not only that, but each experience will be “a grim reminder of the kind of dystopian place Night City really is”.
With each encounter seamlessly integrated into Cyberpunk 2077, you will feel as though they were present all along.

The encounters include: Rogue’s Wall, XBD Victim Vigil, The Man Who Jumped, The Corpo With Nothing to Lose, and One Last Night Under the Stars.
The creator aims for these locations to be stumbled across naturally by fitting them into the world but the official mod page does have a list of exact coordinates if you want to visit them straight away.
Featuring romance, heartbreak, death, and life, these encounters will be both beautiful and hard-hitting and as mentioned, will fit perfectly into the dark world of Night City.
Better yet, Cyberpunk 2077: Ghosts of Night City is completely free to download for those who own Cyberpunk 2077 on PC.
