The Witcher IV is the next project to arrive from CD Projekt RED but beyond that, a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is expected.
There’s very little we know about the codenamed Project Orion other than that it’s very early in development.
At the moment, there’s only a very small team working on it, with the plan being that manpower will shift over once The Witcher IV has shipped.
Sadly, we don’t know when that’ll be, but it’s expected to land in the next year or two. With that in mind, Project Orion could be five-plus years away.

As we’re so in the dark, there’s plenty of discussion online over what the sequel should be.
Should it introduce multiplayer, for example? Or a third-person mode?
Personally, I’m hoping for more of the same. By the time the 2.0 update arrived, CD Projekt RED had perfected the formula.
Certainly, I’d appreciate a few new bells and whistles, but I don’t think Project Orion needs to do anything radically different.
A new mod has hopped onto the PC scene though introducing one feature I think it would be good to see.
Night City Is Very Immersive, But There’s Always Room For Improvement
Developed by NexusMods user DigitalVixen, ‘Immersive First Person Camera - Extended’ adds a small but welcomed quality-of-life change to Cyberpunk 2077.
First-person isn’t exactly very effective when you glance down and can’t even see the bottom half of your body.
It’s not a dealbreaker, no, but it’s small touches like that that boost the realism.
“The game's first person view is cool, but it also makes you short. And you can't view yourself properly, either. Using guns you're aiming between your arms, it's just weird,” began DigitalVixem.
“This mod aims to fix that as elegantly as possible by providing a completely overhauled first-person camera system with smooth procedural movement, freelook capabilities, and a robust lean system that actually works while aiming.
“It does this all seamlessly and you should only notice smoother, more immersive camera behaviour.”

As I said, it’s a simple little creation, but an effective one; as is the case with most NexusMods projects, it’s free to download on PC.
“Mod on the month,” one happy downloader remarked.
“Fantastic mod,” added another. “Really immersive and huge upgrade over alternate versions of the mod in my opinion.”
This is my regular PSA to say that if you haven’t tried Cyberpunk 2077 since launch, this is your sign to.
It’s a fantastic game these days thanks to the efforts of CDPR.
