Cyberpunk 2077 Players Can Enjoy Extra Dates With Panam

Panam or Judy?

Cyberpunk 2077 players will know all about the multiple romance options you can find in the game, with the two most popular choices being Judy and Panam.

You’ll meet both characters naturally as you progress the main story but they’ll only become a romance option depending on which sex you selected for your character at the beginning of the game.

Judy will only be romanceable by female characters whereas Panam will only be romanceable by male characters.

Like Yennefer and Triss in The Witcher III: Wild Hunt there’s a lot of debate over who is better, and for those who prefer Panam this mod is definitely for you.

It’s called Go on a Date (Panam), and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what effect it has on the game…

Basically it adds some open-world quests that are treated to dates with your dearly beloved, as while the game does let you hang out with them from time-to-time it’s not an in-depth part of the gameplay. It mostly boils down to your chosen partner visiting you at your apartment or sending you text messages while you’re off galavanting, and depending on which ending you chose sometimes you don’t even get that. Most of what I just described wasn’t even in the game at launch either, it was added in later.

The following is added when downloading the mod; 108 new phone messages, 30 new sequences, three “semi-quest” activities.

They’ll keep repeating for as long as you play the game apparently, and of course you always have the option of declining if you’re too busy or not in the mood. It’s also worth pointing out that this mod supports both the female and male versions of V, meaning you could date Panam regardless of which sex you selected for your character.

At the time of writing the mod’s creator Dedra hasn’t made an identical mod for Judy yet, but Panam’s name being in brackets in the mod title implies one for Judy is also on the way, at some point or other.

Cyberpunk 2077 did a decent job at romance, but it could have been better. With Cyberpunk 2 in the early stages of development, mostly the planning phases at the time of writing I’d imagine, let’s hope that CD Projekt Red has more ambitious plans for love in the sequel.

We’re not asking for a Cyberpunk dating simulator, we just want more options and more reasons to settle down.
