When you are not trying to take down corporations and having to deal with Keanu Reeves living inside your head, your time in Night City can be spent trying to romance the locals.

Like many RPGs, Cyberpunk 2077 gives you the opportunity to romance a selection of NPCs ranging from the nomad Panam, techie Judy Álvarez, cop River, or rocker Kerry.

Check out the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update launch trailer below!

Unlike RPGs such as Baldur’s Gate 3 where every character can be romanced regardless of your gender orientation, in Cyberpunk 2077, romances are “locked” based on the gender identities of both your V and the romantic partner.

As a result, many players do not get to experience all of the storylines but thanks to this brand-new mod, we now have some non-canon romances to explore.

Non-Canon Romances Enhanced is a free-to-download mod by Deceptious over on Nexus Mods.

As a key figure of the Cyberpunk 2077 modding community, there is no doubt that this mod will be the perfect accompaniment to your game, especially as it “adds animation support for non-canon romances in several scenes, particularly during The Sun ending.”

Not only that but it will allow female V to share a romantic moment with Panam if they choose to do so.

The mod adds an in-game menu which can be used to enable non-canon romances and do not worry, it will not break scenes for any canon romances you do decide to pursue.

The new animations support all four partner scenes which take place in the penthouse during The Sun ending and this is regardless of V’s gender.

Last but not least, male V will now be able to embrace Judy during The Star ending.

Despite Non-Canon Romances Enhanced only being uploaded last week, it has already gained over 3,000 downloads so it is safe to say that this mod is a must-have for your version of Cyberpunk 2077.
