PC owners have a new offer that’ll net them over 50 Xbox games at no additional cost, along with some other benefits.
For those who haven’t seen it, Xbox has been making a major comeback this month with several changes and u-turns on decisions that lost favour with the gamers.
The company has a snazzy new logo now, but the area that’s seen the most improvement is Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox’s subscription service has been made cheaper, and more changes are expected to bring further savings to subscribers, though they’ll come at a cost.

Following this, a new collaboration is bringing a stream of benefits to console owners, but PC users are getting love too.
Xbox recently announced that it’ll be collaborating with Discord to bolster the social side of its platform.
Discord integration was added to Xbox consoles years ago allowing you to hop into voice channels through your console. It’s a great feature and you can even use it to stream your gameplay to your friends.
As the partnership continues to flourish, Discord Nitro is believed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass as an additional freebie though that hasn’t been confirmed as of yet. However those who are already subscribed to it on PC will be getting their own reward.
PC users with an active subscription to Discord Nitro will soon receive a free subscription to Xbox Game Pass, bringing with it over 50 games to play at no additional cost, 10 hours of cloud-streaming, and even some bonus Xbox rewards.
It’s a generous offer especially for those that have used Discord for years. Why shouldn't you get some freebies along with the Xbox owners?
We know exactly why Xbox is doing this too. The company’s next console Project Helix will be a PC hybrid so the company is clearly gearing up for full integration across platforms.
Claiming this offer is actually the easy part. Like we said before, to be eligible, all you need is an active subscription to Discord Nitro, which is around $9.99 per month unless you snag some free trials from somewhere.
When you’ve got your subscription the only thing you’d need to do next is ensure that both your Discord and Xbox accounts are linked. This is really easy to do and you’ll find out how in your Discord settings.
Once both accounts are linked, your subscription to Xbox Game Pass will activate, and while it’s only a basic form of the service it’s still an excellent freebie if you’ve been paying for Nitro.
In hindsight, that’s the only downside to this deal. Discord Nitro is not a popular subscription service and while those who use it will no doubt benefit from this collaboration, there’ll be plenty of gamers left disappointed.
