Fans believe a new Hogwarts Legacy video on YouTube may just have teased the inclusion of a feature they've been begging for since the game was announced.
For the most part, Hogwarts Legacy is clearly shaping up to be the Wizarding World sim fans have been waiting for. There's plenty to do and see, with an entire region to explore that extends far beyond Hogwarts castle and its surrounding grounds.
Take a look at the recent gameplay deep dive below if you somehow missed it the first time!
Given that this is a Harry Potter game, and that we can quite clearly explore the open world by flying around on a broomstick, fans have been hopeful that Hogwarts Legacy will include some kind of Quidditch minigame. The gameplay trailer clearly showed a Quidditch pitch, after all. How can you not include the Wizarding World's favourite sport?

The game's official FAQ currently confirms that there are broomstick races and flying classes to attend, but there's absolutely no mention of Quidditch specifically.
This could be because it's simply not in the game, of course, but it could also be that developer Avalanche Software simply isn't ready to show Quidditch off.
Last night, the official Hogwarts Legacy uploaded a rather lovely new ASMR video that shows various locations from the game in the middle of a stormy night. It's not meant to be showing off anything new, instead offering fans a cosy series of scenes to drift off to.
But Hogwarts Legacy fans are a keen bunch, and it wasn't long before they started poring over the video for new clues. Some are convinced that one of the scenes - a rain-soaked Diagon Alley - confirms that Quidditch will be in the game because of the presence of a shop called Quality Quidditch Supplies. Hmm.

This could very well be a bit of a stretch. We know that Quality Quidditch Supplies is a well-established shop in the world of Harry Potter, meaning its inclusion in the in-game Diagon Alley could be nothing more than accurate set-dressing. It could also be a place to upgrade and buy new brooms, which in itself doesn't necessarily mean Quidditch.
For now, I'd advise you keep your Quidditch expectations lowered. That way you won't be disappointed if it doesn't find its way into Hogwarts Legacy later this year.
