Hogwarts Legacy might not be done yet, as it seems a DLC expansion could be on the way before we get a sequel.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 is definitely happening, but for the time being, it’s years away so there’s not much point talking about it just yet.

Luckily Hogwarts Legacy is still kicking, recently emboldened by its official mod support update on PC.

Console users on Xbox and PlayStation unfortunately missed out on the above PC modding update, a shame because we’ve seen modding work on consoles through Bethesda games.

Don’t fret though as rumour has it that a DLC expansion for Hogwarts Legacy is currently in development, which will be a real treat for players on all platforms.

What this DLC will consist of however is anyone’s guess, though I know a lot of fans are still holding out hope for a Chamber of Secrets update.

Whatever it is, there’ll likely be some sort of story expansion, perhaps taking players to Gringotts for a side quest or maybe an internship at the Ministry of Magic.

Personally, I think a Triwizard Tournament DLC would make the most sense, as it would keep things at Hogwarts whilst also leading to some fun new gameplay additions.

The game does need more content for all platforms though, as it was a real treat for many to explore Hogwarts and its surrounding areas, making it disappointing when there was nothing left to see.

A story expansion that unlocks a new area or at least populates existing areas with more stuff to see and do could be just what the wizard doctor ordered.

Quidditch would be another decent suggestion, but considering we already have a dedicated Quidditch game in the form of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, Avalanche Software may have its hands tied when it comes to introducing the beloved wizard sport to the game.
