Harry Potter fans are seriously hyped over a tease regarding Hogwarts Legacy 2 from Warner Bros.
It’s no secret (of Chambers), that the Harry Potter series is one of the most popular brands of entertainment in the world, whether it’s movies, novels, video games, merch and more. So it was also no surprise when Hogwarts Legacy became the best-selling game of 2023.

Hogwarts Legacy became the dream Harry Potter game for its legion of fans. Not only does it feature a well-told story with interesting characters, but it is also a gorgeous game whether you’re exploring the halls of Hogwarts Castle or window shopping in Hogsmeade Village.
Given the success of Hogwarts Legacy, we will at some point get a sequel. After all, Warner Bros. has already teased its arrival hinting that it may have a modern setting inspired by the upcoming Harry Potter TV reboot from HBO.
However, just last week, leaked details were making the social media rounds regarding not only Hogwarts Legacy 2 but also the original game getting an expanded edition with new story content.
Now, following a recent financial call by Warner Bros. Discovery that revealed a new Batman Arkham game is on the way from Rocksteady Studios, but also speculation of Hogwarts Legacy 2 was reignited and fans are understandably hyped.
“I loved Hogwarts Legacy, so I’m looking forward to the sequel despite it being years away,” said Redditor Devilofchaos108070.
“I hope the DLC takes us away from Hogwarts. Some other cool place in the Wizarding World would be cool,” replied Familiar_Election_94, referring to the prospect of the expanded edition.
“I hope Hogwarts Legacy 2 is a direct sequel,” said Harkoncito. “A time jump would put us right in the middle of the first Fantastic Beasts movie.”
At this time, we know very little about the Hogwarts Legacy sequel but with a bit of luck, its publisher Warner Bros. Games might provide some official details in the next year or so.
For now, we can play the original Hogwarts Legacy on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
