Hogwarts Legacy players discover strange ruins at edge of game's map

Going off the beaten track will sometimes reveal unusual discoveries not normally seen by others; this is what Hogwarts Legacy fans are finding out after discovering ruins.

The "mysterious ruins” can be found on the very edge of the game’s map, should you be brave enough to venture that far.

As of yet, Hogwarts Legacy fans have been unable to unearth what secrets they hold, however, the ruins’ discovery has intrigued them.

“These ruins, the long forgotten stack of bricks, it has consumed me,” wrote Redditor Altruistic_Meme.

“I need to know more, I need to see more, I NEED to explore. But alas, the walkways and paths leading to this building, all of them blocked off.”

Discoveries such as this naturally attract us, even if they're eventually proven to be nothing more than “leftover junk from cutscenes”.

Warner Bros and the developers have not claimed this, though, so the mystery of these ruins persists.

Indeed, some players are so determined to make it across to the in-game abandoned structure that they’re going to go “underneath the game”.

This isn’t the only area of its kind; as mentioned by another Reddit user, there’s an “underwater cave to the south of the map” that’s home to “a little house” similar in design.

Though these strange locations are intriguing, there are other hidden rooms much closer to home.

Hogwarts Legacy is a rather large experience, and as such, it’s easy to miss details while you roam the halls going from class to class, or when you're sneaking out in the dead of the night.

It’s part of the Harry Potter game’s bewitching nature.
