Hogwarts Legacy is officially out in the world, for most people at least. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will have to hold out a little longer until 4 April with Nintendo Switch owners gaining access on 25 July.
For the most part, it looks like the wait will be worth it. Hogwarts Legacy is already the most successful Harry Potter game of all time, with many fans calling it ‘GOTY material.’ There are a few changes players would like to see though. They’re all in agreement that the spell casting system could do with the addition of one feature, plus players want to be able to buy clothes for their house elf. Today though, I bring you a fix you can carry out right now for one of Hogwarts Legacy’s most annoying issues.
Tour the enchanting Hosgmeade below.
Hogwarts Legacy’s characters have a habit of repeating the same snippets of dialogue but Reddit user Liquidroom is here with a handy fix. They wrote, “This tip can save your mental health in the long run. As soon as your character starts saying, ‘All the roads..’, just press your roll button. It cancels the dialogue. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.” This is so helpful.

User Jinla_ulchrid joked, “How else would you know that all roads seem to lead to Hogsmeade, or that travel must have been really inconvenient prior to the invention of floo powder?” while cannabidroid added, “It is a bit annoying that every time you turn a corner in Hogsmeade or exit any of the buildings, he starts repeating the same quips. ‘Hogsmeade, here I come!’ No s**t Sherlock, you've already been here 30 minutes picking locks.”
Some are enjoying the dialogue. LiopleurodonMagic said, “I’m like ‘Ooooh Hogsmeade IS cozy’ every time. It also makes me look around a bit more at the coziness. The rest of the lines can be annoying though.” Well, at least you know you can drop and roll out of the lines you find the most irritating.
