With two official delays already under our collective belts, it's totally fair enough to be worried about exactly what the status of GTA 6 is and when we might finally have the opportunity to play it.
Recently, revelations came via Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, who shared information claiming that GTA 6 isn't yet feature complete (contrary to earlier reports) and the development team isn't sure if they can hit the release target they set for later this year.
Whilst that's obviously quite disappointing to hear if you're a fan of the franchise, it's not necessarily time to throw the baby out with the bath water, if we all take a second to calm down and think things through.
Over on X (formerly Twitter), one GTA community account shared their thoughts about all the negative atmosphere that had been generated by the Bloomberg report, and they make some good points about why it isn't the end of the world.

"The game is still 10 months away. It would be great if it is content complete, and maybe it is. However, if it's not then that's entirely normal. Especially for a game this massive," the post reads.
"Just to put it into perspective, Rockstar were still doing motion capture for RDR2 in June 2018, just four months before the game came out. Roger Clark has even said before that his final day in the booth as Arthur Morgan was in August 2018."

Whilst they are obviously going to be very different games, particularly given the sizeable gap between their release dates, it's totally fair enough to point out that the game not being feature complete doesn't necessarily mean it's that far from being done (bug fixes aside).
It seems that much of the community is in agreement as well, as the comments below made abundantly clear.
"Thanks for this, you have no idea how much i hate this constant fuelling of panic for no good reason," one read.
"Also folks need to realize we live in the day of 'games are 60% to 80% ready on release'. This is the current business model," another added.
"You launch but keep the hype going by doing content updates. This has been a thing for a WHILE."
A third wrote: "People are forgetting it's been 10 plus yers since the last game, there is physically no way 6 isn't as content dense as 5 or more.
"I really don't get the dwelling on the date, it's not amusing, just let it happen when it does, you're not loosing your life or $ over it."
It's a tricky one because we don't know quite how "not complete" the game is. If it's a case of additional content to flesh out the game, that's one thing, but if it's major parts of the main storyline, then that's another.
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed I get to play it before I enter my 40s.
