Lawless in everything they produce, Rockstar Games is reportedly stealing its own features, with Grand Theft Auto VI becoming more like its distant cousin, Red Dead Redemption.
The difference between GTA V and other titles under the Rockstar banner, including Red Dead Redemption 2, is that crime comes free.
The shackles were taken off the protagonists, and while there are certain aspects of the game that test your moral compass - the ending especially - for the most part its true Grand Theft Auto.
Steal, speed, heist, and kill, as long you evade the five-star rated manhunts, you're okay.

That isn't the case in GTA IV, nor is it in Red Dead Redemption 2, and nor will it be in GTA VI.
New reports suggest that Red Dead and GTA are more intertwined than we thought, with Rockstar using everything they've learned across both franchises to put towards the pinnacle sixth instalment of the colossal hotwiring series.
One of those features learned is set to be a morality or friendship level system that will add more incentive to play by the rules or break them even more.
It's a feature made in RDR2 and would make GTA VI much more intense and thought-provoking.

Modern fans of the GTA series won't be accustomed to that, though, and now the community has taken to Reddit to voice their division.
Taking to the forum, one poster quizzed whether a more methodical and slow approach would fit in the hectic world of GTA.
But most fans seem to think it will add to the story - after all, you'll be able to do so much more following the main questlines that it will be a forgotten blur after your 50th hour.
"More weight = more importance. That was the case for GTA IV and RDR2 and I hope 6 follows that," one fan said.
Another agreed, adding, "can't think of many scenarios where I wouldn't want an open world game to feel like RDR2."
Others think that anything, Red Dead-inspired or not, that adds to the game will only improve the series.
"If that means that the story will be more immersed and better written then I'm ok with that," a third fan wrote.
However, some did point out a downside.
A fourth fan claimed, "Seeing as I dropped RDR2 twice because I couldn't get used to walking around with lead shoes in a sea of molasses, I hope the only way it's similar is immersion and great story."
Today would have been the day that GTA 6 was supposed to arrive after its first delay, but following confirmation from Xbox that November 19 is happening, the deadline is quickly approaching.
