GTA 6 map leak has well over 100 locations for us to explore

Could this be the largest map in open-world history?

With Rockstar being no strangers to creating some of the biggest maps in the genre, it is no surprise that Grand Theft Auto 6 is reported to be its biggest yet.

From Red Dead Redemption 2 to Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar Games is not afraid to set its stories across expansive open-worlds. With each title full to the brim with side quests, random events, secret locations and more, it is no wonder that Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to be the most ambitious yet.

Check out the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 below!

Now courtesy of one fan who sat down with the first official trailer for GTA 6, they have determined that the long-awaited sequel may feature over 100 locations for us to explore.

With GTA 6 set to take place in Vice City and surrounding areas, it seems as though the map will be based on real-life Florida and nearby areas including Georgia, the Blue Ridge Mountains and even the Bermuda Triangle.

“We all know this game will be set in Florida. What a lot of people don't know is that the game will feature surrounding states, parts of them. Mainly Georgia,” the original poster sent to r/GTA6.

What follows is an extensive list of all the areas, landmarks and locations they believe may feature in the game after extensively combing through the trailer.

Some standout mentions are “Ekanfinaka” which is believed to be based off the Okenfenokee swamp in Georgia, the SERA space station which is reminiscent of NASA and Fairyland, GTA 6’s very own Disneyland complete with an event titled “rollercoaster vomit”. Nice.

Florida’s famous Everglades and Keys could also be making an appearance and will be a stark contrast to Vice City which is expected to be 2.5x larger than Grand Theft Auto 5’s Los Santos map.

It is worth remembering that these rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt but a game of this size is not unexpected from Rockstar Games. Only time will tell!
