Grand Theft Auto VI leaks and rumours are back on the menu.
Fair to say, we’ve had a fair amount of concrete information and evidence to mull over lately after Rockstar Games dropped GTA VI’s long-awaited second trailer last month.
As such, the so-called insiders have been pretty quiet, unable to tease us with claims about when a trailer or release date might be coming; both have arrived.

The temporary lull in information though has drawn to a close as one leaker has now surfaced with a major “gameplay” leak.
Before you get excited thinking this means you can view raw gameplay, you can’t.
The information comes from Twitter user GameRoll_ who claims to have a source who is a friend of a Rockstar Games developer.
The idea is that the dev passed on information about gameplay to the friend who passed the information along to GameRoll_ who posted the information online in a huge thread.

That may sound tenuous but GameRoll_ did correctly leak Jason and Lucia’s names with the same source; even still, have a huge pinch of salt handy.
Without further ado, I’ll hop into these supposed gameplay features, as there’s a fair amount to get through.
According to GameRoll_, a six-star wanted level returns while a relationship bar will be present that works similarly to Red Dead Redemption 2’s honour system.
“Weight mechanics are a thing”, whatever that means, and underwater areas will supposedly be explorable.

The trailer two scene where Jason buys beer is reportedly gameplay, and “greet and antagonise is in the game”.
GameRoll_ claims the character wheel will have three options: solo Jason, solo Lucia, and dual protagonist controls with the latter being used to carry out robberies in the open world.
There is due to be a “rectangle GPS with pink waypoints”, male strippers, and NPCs will react to you having your gun out - a varied line up of features.
Jason is said to have a dead eye ability that slows down time and reveals weak spots, something that Lucia can only do with one shot as she’s weaker with firearms apparently.

“Driving is the best it’s ever been”, gore and dismemberment is being improved from Red Dead Redemption 2, and the limited weapon system returns.
There’s a character called Donnie who is reportedly a “freak”. Harsh.
The map is supposedly an island, featuring enterable malls and skyscrapers and over 700 shops if any of this is to be believed.
GameRoll_ continues adding that the game has five chapters with trailer two featuring scenes exclusively from chapters one to three.

There are no full nude scenes and listening to music outside of your car reportedly isn’t a thing.
A prone ability was cut, there’s no dual weapon wielding or burglary mini game, and the Disney World parody rumour is baseless.
Phew, we made it.
There’s simply no way to verify whether any of this is true until the game is playable so as I said, keep that hefty pinch of salt handy.
Let’s be honest though, it’s very fun to speculate and even if this source is bogus, there are a fair few educated guesses here that may just end up being accurate.
