If there is one thing that is synonymous with Grand Theft Auto, its the police as they will be on your back throughout your many criminal escapades around the city.

However, with video games now coming on in leaps and bounds when it comes to technological advancements, we can only imagine how effective the police force will be in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Check out the first and only trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI below!

Well, according to our first and only GTA VI trailer, we do have a sneak peek at the police as we see our new protagonist Jason pass a cop car.

Despite Jason seemingly fleeing from the scene of the crime, the police look unaware and drive past him which has led some fans to contemplate the new changes to NPC AI.

“New wanted system”, one user posted to r/GTA6.

“I just realized that this part of the trailer is showing off the new Wanted System.

The cops must not have a description of the suspect so they just drive by Jason and Lucia here who are fleeing the scene of the crime the cops are headed to.”

It was not long before the comments came flooding in with fellow fans providing their own opinions about the new system.

“In one of the leaks when Jason and Lucia are robbing the Diner, as they are about to leave you can actually see a little message pop up at the top,” one comment read.

It says that the cops have a full description of the vehicle they used to get away, so there could very well be a new element to the wanted system.”

Social media will play a big part in GTA VI and NPCs can even record your activities so it would make sense that hiding your identity will play a much bigger part.

User JohnnyReece added, “It sounds a bit like RDR2 where changing clothes and removing your bandana has an effect on recognition.

It makes sense and even more so when you consider NPCs might possibly record video and your image becomes circulated, as has been rumoured.”

It remains to be seen how effective the police will be in GTA VI but I for one am excited to get chased through the streets of Vice City with them in tow.
