It appears that new intel regarding Grand Theft Auto VI may be coming soon, including a possible third trailer and pre-order information.
GTA VI has been one of the most hyped up games of all time, which is wild to think about when you consider it’s only really had two trailers and several dozen screenshots released in the past three years.
Rockstar Games is aiming to release the game in November this year though, meaning that more information and a third trailer should be expected soon.
Given how secretive the company is about when it’ll be doing its next marketing beat, there’s a lot of speculation around when the next trailer could drop.

However, one potential leak from the PlayStation Store may have confirmed that GTA VI is about to get a big update on storefronts, including preorders potentially being opened.
Could Grand Theft Auto VI Be About To Open Preorders?
Reported by PlayStation Game Size on X (formerly Twitter), a reliable insider for anything related to backend changes on the PlayStation Store, “Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to the PlayStation database.”
What this essentially means is there may be upcoming changes to GTA VI on the PlayStation Store, including a potential price reveal and multiple editions. And if prices are revealed, it’s probably safe to assume that preorders will also be coming along with it.

However, the account also doesn't claim to know when the reveal will happen exactly, writing: "To be honest, it completely depends on the publisher, and it's not something I know for sure. But I don't think there's going to be a long wait."
Of course, this all still remains speculation for now, and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Rockstar Games is releasing GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles on 19 November, 2026, assuming there are no more delays, so we should hear more by summer at the latest.
There’s also always the chance that preorders for GTA VI may come a little later, but there's no way to tell for sure.
For comparison’s sake, Red Dead Redemption 2 preorders were opened in June 2018, with the full release happening in October.
Meanwhile, GTA V preorders opened in November 2012, almost a full year before release, so there definitely isn’t really a solid pattern to look at when predicting when preorders for GTA VI may open.
