GTA 6 DLC is already disappointing fans, and we get it

Better be supported more than GTA V, I'll say that

GTA VI is going to be a ridiculously big game, but since it’ll probably be over a decade until GTA VII is even close to launch, Rockstar's next game needs DLC, single player DLC specifically.

It’s one of the biggest fumbles with GTA V in my opinion, that once the story mode is over it just sort of…ends.

We all know why it’s so that players are forced to jump into GTA V: Online, but for those of us that don’t enjoy getting griefed by other players or endlessly grinding heists for pocket change it’s not exactly the best experience.

What a shame too because Rockstar Games has made some excellent DLC expansions in its time, like Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption and The Ballad Of Gay Tony for GTA IV.

GTA VI needs some DLC packs like those and fans couldn’t agree more, but know we’ll probably never get them.

“Will Rockstar actually support GTA 6 with story DLCs and expansions instead of abandoning it like GTA 5 this time?” asked someone on Reddit.

They went on to pitch a best of both worlds possibility where the next iteration of GTA: Online gets its regular updates, but the singleplayer gets a few expansions too for a bit of flavour.

“Of course not” replied one of the comments, “Online is where they can make much more money and that has sealed the fate of singleplayer DLC … It sucks for those of us who don't play Online, but it is what it is.”

Others cited Red Dead Redemption 2’s awful multiplayer mode, saying “No they didn't do it for RDR2 when clearly that was the move instead of half baked Online.”

Don’t even get me started on how they fumbled Red Dead Redemption 2’s DLC potential…we could have gotten Undead Nightmare 2 but instead we got Moonshine businesses…
