With so many incredible titles releasing on a daily basis, it is hard to know what to play and it is even harder to fall victim to FOMO.

However, as a way to combat this, Xbox is offering players the chance to try before they buy by regularly adding games to its library that can be played for a limited time.

As a result, you will be able to play the latest games and not have to spend a penny unless you are sure you want to continue.

Not only that but this is a sure fire way to stop some underrated gems from flying under our radars.

So without further ado, let us take a look at five Xbox demos which you can try out for free right now.

First up is Through the Nightmares, a challenge-driven platformer for anybody who has ever experienced a restless night.

Run, jump and even change your size in order to beat the nightmares and rescue children from an endless dream.

Next is Final Fantasy XVI, the 16th main instalment in the Final Fantasy series and first released back in 2023.

Follow the tale of tragic warrior Clive Rosfield as he navigates a world where fate is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who are capable of wielding them.

Fans of anime-style RPGs can check out EDENS ZERO, a 3D action title based on the space fantasy comic and anime.

Players will get to control a diverse cast of characters as they embark on an adventure across different planets, each with their own unique, albeit powerful, enemies.

EDENS ZERO does not release until 15 July so try it out right now ahead of its official launch.

If you are on the lookout for a cosy little indie title, then Coffee Talk Tokyo is not one to miss out on.

Although not yet fully released, players can check out the demo for the latest instalment in the Coffee Talk series.

Brew coffee and get to know your customers as you experience an all-new cafe in the heart of Tokyo where humans and yokai alike share their stories.

Last but not least is Day of the Shell, an upcoming tactical roguelite set in a shattered and flooded world.

Travel from one island to another as you use just your revolver and your hope to challenge and appease the gods who seek to aid or stop you altogether.

If you are a fan of Hades, then you will love Day of the Shell.
