Grand Theft Auto fans that a GTA VI announcement could be imminent thanks to a newly released song by rapper SpaceGhostPurrp.

At this point, Rockstar Games could reveal even the tiniest bit of news about GTA VI and the internet would explode. An official logo would send fans into hype overdrive. Just imagine how the trailer is going to go down when it’s eventually shown. The thought terrifies me slightly, to be honest.

While Rockstar Games is yet to show anything of GTA VI directly, we still have some idea of what it might look like thanks to this GTA V Vice City mod.

It seems that barely a month goes by without some insider claiming that an official trailer could be releasing imminently. I mean, it’s got to happen eventually, right? Now though, as Dexerto reports, fans are wondering if SpaceGhostPurrp’s recent song titled ‘GRAND THEFT AUTO 6’ might be hinting that we could be getting an announcement soon.

Over on Reddit, GTA fans pointed out that the rapper is based in Miami - the real-life location that Vice City is based on. The huge GTA VI leak from last September seemingly confirmed that the upcoming game will be set in Vice City, which is making the fanbase wonder if this song could be featured in the game.

“Probably something, most likely nothing BUT would be cool for them to go out and get rappers, artists, etc. from Miami to have songs and such with that vibe, Floridians know it best!” wrote SultyBoi. “Yes! Makes it even more authentic,” agreed CartoonNetwork1999.

At this point, this is all pure speculation, but if the rapper’s song really is going to be included in the game, it could imply that Rockstar is getting ready to show it off soon. Of course, there’s also a very decent chance that the guy is just excited for the game himself, but we can live in hope.
