Unless you've been hiding under a rock or are an interstellar visitor, you'll likely know that the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is racing into view. Helping us indulge our darker sides and do things we (hopefully) never would in real life since 1997, this automotive adventure has only grown with each outing. There's a reason 2013's GTA V is the most profitable entertainment product of all time, and with GTA VI launching on November 19, many are placing bets on it being even bigger.
Rockstar Games has reaped the rewards of GTA V, making over $10.38 billion in net revenue since its launch in 2013, but when it comes to GTA VI, it could be time to give back. Although there are plenty of streamers out there who've made bank on Grand Theft Auto, an ever-evolving industry could see us humble players step up to the plate.
Adin Ross reveals that with the release of GTA 6 he plans on creating a server that will allow people to quit their IRL 9-to-5s and earn full time salaries from working within the game 👀 pic.twitter.com/4rdHH0eFqS

Hype for GTA VI is at an all-time high, and although we still haven't had a full gameplay trailer, Rockstar's announcement that pre-orders are going live on June 25 has seen the game trend once again. Before this, Adin Ross took to Kick and confirmed his plans to release roleplay servers where you can get paid to play GTA VI. Explaining his grand plans, Ross gushed: "Yes, guys, listen. My GTA server, you guys can quit your jobs in real life and work on my server."
While we're sure there will be plenty who don't like the prospect of working for Adin Ross, others would likely jump at the chance. Although he doesn't go into specifics about exactly what you'll get paid or how, he continued to reveal some of the jobs on offer: "You can be a janitor, you can be a babysitter, you can be a bitcoin [mumbles]...You guys are really going to make money in my world.

It's important not to underestimate the power that GTA VI has, with one company officially shutting down operations so employees can play on launch day. When it comes to Adin Ross promising you all the riches in the world, there are a couple of things to be wary of here. Firstly, the idea that you can quit your 9-to-5 and earn an actual wage from GTA VI is more than a little fanciful. While we're not saying it can't be done, remember that this isn't an official job from Rockstar Games, and instead, you'd be working for Adin Ross and FaZeBanks on a server similar to something like NoPixel that runs on FiveM.
Working for Ross would be completely dependent on the server's internal economy, which is driven by the likes of sponsorship and views. If that wasn't enough to contend with, there are a lot of questions about GTA VI's PC release, meaning a server dedicated to the next game could be anywhere between one and two years away. For now, we'd hold onto that desk job. Sorry, you could still be pushing papers for a bit longer.
