It may have been released 15 years ago, but that hasn't stopped Rockstar Games from giving GTA IV some love.

When Grand Theft Auto IV was released back in 2008 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it was met with high critical acclaim - though this is a Rockstar Games title, so we should really expect nothing less. In fact, Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the best-reviewed games of all time, earning a whopping 98 score on Metacritic for PS3 and Xbox 360, while the PC port earned a very respectable score of 90.

Take a look at some of our favourite GTA V wins and fails.

Still, despite its high critical acclaim, the game was somewhat marred by the cousin of the main playable character, Niko Belic. As you would expect from a Grand Theft Auto title, there are loads of activities to partake in GTA IV. Whether it's the main story, side missions, or going on a date, the return to Liberty City really was the player's oyster.

However, once you encountered Niko’s cousin, Roman Belic, he would constantly harass you on the phone to go play bowling, darts or pool. It wouldn't matter if you were on the way to an important mission, he would spam you relentlessly on the phone. Seriously, if you’ve played GTA IV, then you know exactly what I’m on about.

Anyway, let’s talk less about my Roman Belic PTSD and more about the free GTA IV content that’s arrived in the latest GTA V update. As reported by TheGamer, players can now pick up Niko’s outfit from GTA IV, as well as Claude’s outfit from GTA III. What’s more, you can also pick up the outfits for the three protagonists in GTA V, Michael, Franklin and Trevor.

However, in order to claim the outfits, you have to complete some in-game tasks. Niko’s outfit is called ‘The Hired Gun’ and you first need to ‘Complete Tier 4 in 25 areas of Career Progress’. As for Claude, to acquire 'The Silent' outfit, you’ll need to 'Complete Tier 4 in 20 areas of Career Progress’. Oddly however, there is no Tommy Vercetti outfit from GTA: Vice City. The outfits are exclusive to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of GTA V and are not available for PS4 or Xbox One, sadly.

In related news, this Grand Theft Auto IV trailer has sent fans absolutely wild.
