Though it undoubtedly had a horrible launch period, Bethesda does have to be commended for the turnaround job it's done with the game Fallout 76 in the several years since launch.
Sure, it isn't quite on the same level as what Hello Games managed to pull off with No Man's Sky, but the developer's only MMO is genuinely a great release to play now if you're into the Fallout universe.
Indeed, it really does seem to be a main focus for them at the moment, as the Prime Video series resurrects interest in the post-apocalyptic setting, as we get to explore it in a new medium.
If you haven't been paying attention, they've just rolled out another major update that adds some characters from the show, as well as an Easter Egg for one of the biggest gaming franchises around.
Call of Duty Easter Egg Appears in Fallout 76

As first pointed out DETONATED over on Twitter/X, Fallout 76's Burning Springs update includes a Call of Duty Zombies Easter egg that features a teddy bear sitting on some breeze blocks, as a reference to the mode's mystery boxes.
The reason for its appearance is likely as part of an upcoming collaboration between the two major video game companies, in which many of Fallout's characters are set to appear in Call of Duty, as part of Season One Reloaded. Most of that crossover will amount to the appearance of Operator Skins, including characters from the show and games, like Lucy, Power Armour and generic Vault Dweller appearances.
The fun doesn't stop there though, with weapons from the wasteland also set to appear, alongside a new game mode event, the details of which are yet to be revealed to the general public.
If you haven't played Fallout 76 in a while and are wondering what it offers beyond an Easter egg for CoD, there is plenty to do these days and I really can't recommend it enough.
As a solo player, there are a ton of activities and NPCs to interact with, making the whole thing feel like an extension of the mainline series, rather than the traditionally separate MMO you might expect.
It's a pretty spectacular time to be a Fallout fan more generally, with a brilliant new TV show to watch, as well as rumour swirling about the potential shadow drop of a remastered version of Fallout 3, something which I personally would be extremely excited for.
