Fallout: Broken City is a perfect way to keep busy until Fallout 5

This massive Fallout: New Vegas mod is the perfect way to pass the time until Fallout 5

We don’t know when Fallout 5 will be released, at least officially but there is plenty of post-apocalyptic goodness to keep us busy until that time arrives.

All we know for sure is that Fallout 5 will be released at some point, even though it will be a very long way off. At the very least, it will arrive after The Elder Scrolls VI and that doesn't even have a release date yet either, despite being revealed nearly six years ago during E3 2018.

The modding community on PC is a wonderful place especially when it comes to Bethesda titles and the Fallout series is no exception. So with that in mind, the awesome ‘Broken City’ mod created by Dead Shock Studios for the beloved Fallout: New Vegas is the perfect way to keep us busy until Fallout 5 finally graces us with its presence.

“‘Fallout: Broken City’ is a DLC-sized modification for Fallout: New Vegas. Created by Dead Shock Studios, ‘Fallout: Broken City’ is a large modification released for Fallout: New Vegas, and aims to be a new and eccentric experience for players,” reads the description of the mod currently available via moddb.com.

The ‘Fallout: Broken City’ mod introduces new main quest lines with over 30 new side quests, over 100 hours of newly recorded voice acting, the new area of San Francisco in California state, new radio stations, NPCs and much more. It even brings a new introduction video and a fishing minigame. Happy days!

Unfortunately, ‘Fallout: Broken City’ is only available on PC and not for the console versions of Fallout: New Vegas. For the rest of us, we can play Fallout: New Vegas as well as its officially released DLC on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. However, it’s also backwards compatible with modern Xbox consoles and is included in Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost.
