I seriously can’t wait for Fallout 5. It’ll be the first Fallout game to launch on new-gen consoles and if done right it could be one of the best open-world games ever made.

We’ve still got a long time to wait though as the next game from Bethesda’s main team is The Elder Scrolls VI, and when that’s done it’ll presumably move onto the next Fallout game.

Perhaps we’ll get another season or two of the Fallout TV series to make that wait a little more bearable though…

Anyway the only thing Fallout fans can do for the time being is play the titles we already have, like Fallout 76 for example which recently got a ghoulish new update.

Alternatively you could replay Fallout 3, a Fallout game that often gets overlooked but is deserving of your attention.

If you own the title on modern Xbox consoles as well you’ll benefit from a few minor performance enhancements, like displaying the visuals at 4K, with a framerate boost of 60fps.

Enhancements aside, it's just a solid game in general, with plenty of awesome side quests, a great main story, and Liam Neeson, what more do you need?

Personally I think Fallout: New Vegas spoiled us too much, as when you put the pair side by side it’s obvious New Vegas is the better game and the more memorable of the two.

Don’t sleep on Fallout 3, it’s a good time and it’s worth replaying for anything you might have missed.

As for other Fallout adventures you can undertake you could always replay Fallout 4, or peruse some of the various fan expansions made for all of the games, many of which add new areas to explore, quests to follow and more.

What else are you going to do while you wait for Fallout 5? It’s not coming out anytime soon so you might as well kill some time.
