Fallout 76 Is Free for a Limited Time, Claim and Keep Forever

An adventure well worth pursuing

Fallout 76 had such a tricky start to life that you could easily be forgiven for having avoided it and the time and not picked it up in the intervening period. If you are one of those people, though, it might be be just about time to reconsider, or risk missing out on what is now a genuinely excellent MMO.

Over the years, Bethesda Entertainment has done an admirable job of releasing regular content updates that have really put the game in an unrecognisable state, when compared to the version we got at launch.

Engaging with the microtransaction system is no longer a critical part of having a good time and, once you've paid the initial cost of the game, you shouldn't need to pump any more money into your character to keep them relevant.

Happily, you can even avoid the initial price of buying the game, but you'll have to act quickly if you want to do so and keep it forever.

Amazon Luna Includes Fallout 76 in Monthly Offering

As first reported by VGC, Amazon Luna, which many of you will know better under its former guise as Prime Gaming, has revealed its monthly offerings for November, and they include Fallout 76 at no additional cost.

Now obviously we have written at no additional cost there because you will need to have an active Amazon Prime subscription to take advantage of it, but as it's such a ubiquitous one generally, we're hoping you might already have it anyway.

The very cool thing about the offer is that you can keep the games, regardless of whether you want to keep paying for the service. While Xbox and PlayStation require an active premium subscription to play games you have picked up for free, Amazon simply provides a code for other stores that they can't take away from you in the future.

The game is joined by another 11 titles that are releasing sequentially over the course of the month, with the full list as follows:
