Out of Sight and TerraScape are now available to claim for free on PC from the Epic Games Store - and itâs the best lineup Iâve seen in a while.
Yes, you may not have heard of either of these titles and itâs not an all-time great saving, with the two games otherwise setting you back a collective $30.
I can personally attest, however, that these two lesser-known delights boast enough charm that theyâre definitely worth picking up to while away a weekend or two.
As always, games claimed for free from the Epic Games Store are yours to keep forever. Only PC copies are included, but you can play PC games on adjacent devices like the Xbox ROG Ally.

This line-up is available from now until 4pm BST on Thursday, October 15 when the line-up will once again refresh.
Out of Sight is perfect for fans of Little Nightmares or Reanimal

Developed by The Gang Studio, Out of Sight is a cozy horror puzzle-platformer that would ordinarily cost you $14.99.
It launched in May of last year and has players step into the shoes of blind protagonist Sophie, who sees the world through the eyes of her teddy bear.
Sophie finds herself trapped within a dark mansion and must escape her evil captors, overcoming several platforming and puzzle challenges.
I wasnât kidding when I said this one was ideal for Little Nightmares fans; you can clearly tell where the developers got their inspiration.
That being said, Out of Sight has plenty of its own unique quirks. The puzzles take advantage of the fact that Sophie can only see from her bearâs point of view.
You wonât always be able to keep hold of the bear and simply just charge your way through the game in first-person.
In platforming sections, you may have to position the bear somewhere in the room, switching the perspective to third-person where you can then navigate as Sophie within that field of view.
I played this one back at launch and had great fun solving the gameâs puzzles. I confess to be a scaredy cat and while the game did scare me, it was just about acceptably unsettling for someone like me.
The game boasts a recent review score of 100% on Steam so Iâm not alone in thinking that this is an underrated banger.
You should be able to roll credits in around three to four hours, making it perfect for a spooky October evening.
TerraScape is a cozy puzzler with Elder Scrolls-esque charm

TerraScape is the perfect game to play after Out of Sight because after deeply unsettling yourself over the course of three hours, you can dive into something wholesome and relaxing.
Developed by Bitfall Studios, TerraScape also typically retails for $14.99.
In this puzzler, youâll build medieval kingdoms across a series of floating islands. Itâs not something you should do willy-nilly, though.
Players will score higher for builds that are considered strategic and the more you progress, the more buildings and upgrades youâll unlock.
To get a higher score, consider what your buildings are next to or perhaps what natural resources they border. You should also consider the biome a particular building type belongs in.
Itâs tile-based, so Civilization players should feel right at home, although this is a more focused experience, Iâd say, so itâs perfect for beginners to this type of game.
As your kingdom expands, citizens will move in. Eventually, you can also build merged buildings, which are larger complexes with a higher potential to be considered influential when it comes to your score.
Itâs a beautifully presented game that can very much be played at your own pace with very little pressure.
TerraScape is perfect for solo play, but there is also a multiplayer mode if you do want to up the ante. In Versus Mode, youâll want to outscore your pals, or you can work together in co-op.
TerraScope currently holds an 86% approval rating on Steam and boasts a runtime of anything from five to 35-plus hours.
Again, the lineup will refresh on Thursday, October 15.
