A new line-up of free games is now available to claim from the Epic Games Store on PC.

This week, you can save around $45 with both Cozy Grove and Isonzo up for grabs.

Let’s begin with the delightful Cozy Grove, which I’m a big fan of; this typically retails for $14.99.

Developed and published by Spry Fox, Cozy Grove is a cosy narrative-driven collecting game that first landed in 2021.

“Welcome to Cozy Grove, a game about camping on a haunted, ever-changing island,” the synopsis begins.

“As a Spirit Scout, you'll wander the island's forest each day, finding new hidden secrets and helping soothe the local ghosts.

“With a little time and a lot of crafting, you'll bring color and joy back to Cozy Grove!”

Players will travel through gorgeous hand-drawn landscapes, befriending NPCs, collecting spirit animals, crafting decorations, and enjoying activities like fishing.

If you tackle both main and side quests, Cozy Grove boasts a runtime of well over 40 hours with devs saying the title is “designed to span months of playtime”.

It boasts a Very Positive score of 90% on Steam and a score of 71 on MetaCritic.

There’s a Decent FPS For Those Who Don’t Vibe With Cosy Games

If that’s not your cup of tea, perhaps you’ll prefer Isonzo which usually retails for $29.99.

Developed by BlackMill Games and originally released in 2022, Isonzo is a first-person shooter set during World War I.

“World War One expands to the mountains of the Italian Front - beautiful but deadly in equal measure,” its description reads.

“Take part in key offensives of the Great War, from the Sixth Battle of the Isonzo to the Strafexpedition, and lead your team to victory among the scenic landscapes and peaks of Northern Italy.

“Isonzo is a realistic tactical multiplayer FPS crafted by BlackMill Games, known for their critically acclaimed authentic WW1 wargames such as Verdun and Tannenberg.

“Immerse yourself in faithful recreations of historical battles with intense 48-player matches, testing your tactical skills and mastery of Alpine warfare.”

It’s a great alternative for fans of classic Call of Duty and Battlefield. You need only take a quick glance at its Very Positive review score of 86% on Steam.

This one fared slightly less well with critics, sitting at 67 on MetaCritic.

Both of these games are worth picking up, especially as Epic Games Store freebies are yours to keep forever. You never know what you might want to play further down the line.

You don’t have forever to claim these titles. They’ll remain free until 3pm GMT on 19 March.

After that, they’ll be replaced by Electrician Simulator and World of Warships - Epic Anniversary Tachibana Pack.
