Completing one Soulslike game is an achievement in itself. Completing it in a no-hit run is even more impressive. However, completing 7 FromSoftware games in a row without being hit? Surely impossible. Not for one Twitch streamer.

November last year saw Twitch streamer dinossindgeil or Dino do the impossible when he managed to complete the perfect Any% no hit run of seven different FromSoftware games: Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1, 2 & 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring. Not only could he not receive any hits, but getting hit at all would have made him have to restart, even if he was at the end of game seven!

Check out the Elden Ring launch trailer below!

Dino is no stranger to attempting challenge runs of FromSoftware games and has been doing so for the past four years with the streamer completing an all-bosses hitless playthrough of Demon Soul’s Remake back in 2020. However, his 2022 ‘God Run’ is “the craziest s***” he has done and the moment he achieved it was of course captured on camera.

In an interview with Kotaku, Dino admitted that self-doubt was also something he had to battle during these challenges.

“I think the ‘easiest’ part and also the most fun part is ‘learning new things’ at the start of the journey,” Dino said. “You improve every day a little, and that feels good. At some point after grinding it for a while, about two months in, you start fighting against yourself ‘cause you think, ‘Can I even do that?’ Self-doubt is a run killer, and that’s why I would say the mental challenge is even harder than learning the gameplay.”

The ‘God Run’ took around 300-400 attempts before Dino achieved it and he revealed that Elden Ring and Sekiro were the “worst ones” to conquer.

“Sekiro, for example, has a completely different combat system than any other game [by FromSoftware]. I guess the key there is to understand the combat and then learn and repeat. There are so many little things you have to know to beat these games [without getting hit].”

It is no doubt that Dino’s triumph has inspired thousands of gamers across the globe to attempt the same. I will just leave the challenges to them.
