Elden Ring is considered to be one of the best video games of all time and that’s saying something considering it’s from the acclaimed developer studio, FromSoftware who has brought its fair share of classics.

Over the years, FromSoftware has given us some absolute gems from Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Armored Core IV: Fires of Rubicon and of course, the aforementioned, Elden Ring. In just a couple of months, fans are hyped for even more Elden Ring with the highly anticipated expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree.

Check out the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree trailer below!

“Elden Ring is a constantly surprising adventure that has taken FromSoftware’s tried-and-tested formula to delirious new heights. One of the best video games of the last decade, and an absolutely essential release, Elden Ring really does confirm that 2022 is off to an incredible start,” said Ewan Moore in his review of Elden Ring.

It would make all the business sense in the world for Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco to capitalise on the success of its property outside the realm of video games. This is why we’ve seen tons of merchandise, tabletop board games and much more.

Furthermore, Elden Ring even has its manga series Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree as well as a web series, Elden Ring Become Lord. Now, fans can look forward to another manga inspired by the Lands Between but it might not be what you expect.

As reported by Comicbook.com, Elden Ring: Going Forward, There Will Be Our Bond tells the tale of two streamers in love with the FromSoftware action RPG. This new manga series will be published by Kadokawa and it will be available from 30 May 2024.

“A teenage school boy is spending his days playing video games, especially PvP, where he thrives & shares his sessions via live streaming,” reads the synopsis of Elden Ring: Going Forward, There Will Be Our Bond. “But one day out of the blue his classmate shares his struggles playing “Elden Ring” & the boy is impulsively stepping in to help him out.”

“Soon he enjoys their joint gaming sessions, but it gradually changes the content of his live streams, causing tension with his viewers. This is the youth tale of a high school gamer trying to balance his online presence with real-world friendships.”

Hopefully, we’ll eventually see Elden Ring: Going Forward, There Will Be Our Bond stocked in many comic book retail stores worldwide. As for the upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on 21 June 2024 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
