Deadpool certainly isn’t done with the MCU just yet and with talk of another film on the way one of its stars is keen to return.
After officially joining the MCU after Disney acquired FOX the merc-with-a-mouth proceeded to tear apart the multiverse and mock the never-ending team-ups in our superhero media.
Deadpool & Wolverine brought laughs, action, emotion and even Hugh Jackman in a comic-accurate Wolverine costume, sparking rumour of both characters returning in Avengers: Doomsday/Avengers: Secret Wars.
With a fourth Deadpool film said to be moving forward, Morena Baccarin, who plays Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa, has already said she’d be down to return.

In Deadpool & Wolverine we learn that the fated pair are no longer together, a decision that always felt weird to me considering the lengths Deadpool went to to reunite with her in Deadpool 2. That said the story did feel very human in that way, as sometimes two people just grow apart. That said there was a little hint at the end that their relationship might be salvageable.

Speaking to Variety Baccarin was asked if she’d come back for a fourth film, upon which the actor reflected on their time with the franchise so far and how excited she is to see it grow further.
"It's been such a long journey,” began Bacarin. “I can't [believe] it’s almost 10 years since we shot the first one. I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams that that's what it would have turned out to be.

"We had so much fun shooting it. It was such a fun world.
"I hope that I get to do more of it and participate a little bit more than the last one. But I understood that it was a bro comedy."
It’s true, Deadpool & Wolverine was all about Wade’s relationship with Logan, with the usual supporting cast only seen at the beginning and end of the film.
What Will Deadpool 4 Be About?
Another Deadpool film feels inevitably given the success of the films so far and the general love for the character.

While a fourth film could easily be about another adventure with Wolverine and the wider X-Men cast.
It's said a potential team-up between Deadpool and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man could also be on the cards.
However with the MCU’s X-Men on the way a fourth Deadpool film might be a good way of soft-launching the new superhero team…
