Cyberpunk 2077 player discovers hidden scene featuring Idris Elba's Solomon Reed

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty comes with a lot of new Easter eggs

Cyberpunk 2077 is full of characters that can be found taking part in various activities around the open world, often living their own lives. Yet as it turns out, the DLC for the game added another rather notable encounter that is extremely easy to miss early in the game.

Within the world of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Idris Elba plays secret agent Solomon Reed, a character who kicks off the entire story of Phantom Liberty. As it turns out, you can actually find Solomon Reed earlier in the game, assuming you've purchased the expansion to the title, if you go to the bar where Dino Dinovic resides.

Take a look at Phantom Liberty in action below.

Reed is wearing a baseball cap and glasses, and won't interact with you beyond stock dialogue, but it's pretty cool, especially seeing as Reed himself mentions during the expansion that he does work as a bouncer during the day so that he can remain undercover and keep an eye on Night City. It's a small connection, but a really cool one that makes the world feel alive and like it's evolving alongside you.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launched late last year, and with it came a patch for the base game of the title that fixed a lot of problems that fans had with the RPG. Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 completely changed the way that the police system in the game worked, allowing for actual chases between cops and players. The update also came with the addition of vehicle to vehicle combat, meaning that within the police chases that you're likely to find yourself getting involved in, you can actually fight back against them, and they'll fight back against you.
