A brand-new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 will revitalise the job system, and give players a more dynamic experience upon returning to Night City.
As if we really need an excuse to venture back into Night City and the world of Cyberpunk 2077, this new mod promises to overhaul the job and gig feature, making things feel more realistic.
Job Randomizer 2.0 works exactly how you might think, based on the title of the project, and it fully randomises the opportunities available across the map.
Essentially, the mod, once installed, will scan over the map and offer you a random job or gig to complete, pulled from what’s available.

The goal is to push players out of their comfort zones and “create the feeling that V is actively responding to real events and situations across the city.”
A press of a button will select a new sidequest for you, depending on whether you want to try a random gig, or a random NCPD job.
Several options will tweak which jobs are shown and selected, so you can choose to cover the whole city, or just the ones closest to where you’re located.
It certainly changes up what CD Projekt Red had in mind, and keeps players on their toes.

The creator of the mod stresses that this doesn’t create new missions, or new jobs, but simply pulls from what the game’s developers implemented.
It’s hoped that the mod will “Create the illusion that players are not just clearing POIs from the map for the sake of clearing them, but are actually doing their jobs as mercenaries in a big city.”
If you’re planning on jumping back into Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, it could be worth giving this a try to make the game feel fresh again, and change up your old routine.
