Cyberpunk 2077 dev confirms we're not done with Night City yet

There's still plenty to discover

Development may have finally stopped on Cyberpunk 2077 but its developers are adamant that players still have quite a few secrets left to find within Night City.

Although CD Projekt Red has jumped ship to start work on future projects, one of its high-ranking developers has recently claimed that Cyberpunk 2077 still has a lot of secrets that players are yet to uncover.

Check out the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below!

Pawel Sasko is best known for working on both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

More specifically, he served as the quest director for the former as well as playing a large role in the development of Cyberpunk 2077’s first and only DLC, Phantom Liberty.

Despite The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt being available for almost a decade and Cyberpunk 2077 hurtling towards its fourth anniversary, Sasko claims that both titles still have a lot more to uncover.

Talking to the hosts of the Flow Games podcast, Sasko says that he is “quite sure” that both games feature secrets that are still yet to be discovered.

“In Cyberpunk, we saw a lot of players coming back to the game after patch 2.0 and after Phantom Liberty… Every single time when there are more players coming to the game, they do discover a couple more things,” he said.

“But there’s still plenty. It is one of the more fun things to do, to just be like “oh yeah, and I will just include this really cool reference!”

With Sasko revealing that players were still uncovering secrets in The Witcher 3 over 7-years after launch, that could only mean that Cyberpunk 2077 still has a lot to offer within the streets of Night City.

From hidden rooms and secret NPCs, the CD Projekt Red RPG is far from showing its players what it is capable of.
