The Elder Scrolls VI has celebrated a recent milestone (if you can call it a celebration) recently, which has left fans in total disbelief.
The Elder Scrolls VI was announced by Bethesda during E3 2018, over seven years ago. To put that into perspective, E3 doesn't even exist anymore.

Perhaps to the surprise of even the most eager fans of The Elder Scrolls series, the highly anticipated sixth entry of the fantasy RPG series was AWOL. No gameplay, no release date, no nothing.
The only real news we got at the Xbox Games Showcase related to the series was new content coming to The Elder Scrolls Online.
It’s anyone’s guess when we’ll see more than just a seven-year-old cinematic trailer flying over Tamriel with an Elder Scrolls VI logo. Hopefully, we’ll see something next year, as much as that will likely set us up for more disappointment.
In a tweet posted by The Game Awards, a reminder of the agonising wait for The Elder Scrolls VI was brought to all our attention.

“I wonder what kind of state it is in currently,” pondered sjfostersound.
“The practice of announcing things too early needs to end,” demanded RinoTheBouncer.

We’ll, of course, keep you updated when new information drops on The Elder Scrolls VI. Just don’t hold your breath in the meantime.
But at least we still have The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered to keep us busy while we wait.
