Despite CD Projekt RED claiming that it was done with development on Cyberpunk 2077, it has gone back on its word once more so it isn’t too far-fetched to believe it may have done it again.
That is because one Reddit user recently spotted a job listing over on LinkedIn which may hint at yet another DLC being released for Cyberpunk 2077 in the future.
The listing, which comes courtesy of a Virtuous writer, reveals that the employee has been working on a ‘Cyberpunk 2077 DLC’ since April 2025 and marks it as their current project.

As you may already know, Virtuous is the studio that recently supported CD Projekt Red with its 2.2 Update for Cyberpunk 2077.
Of course, this listing could refer to the employee’s work on that update but with it being marked as a current project, this seems unlikely.
Not only that but one description in the job listing reads as follows:
“Coordinated with the Narrative Designer to conceive, write, and polish side quests for upcoming DLC releases”.

Update 2.2 was not widely regarded as a DLC, at least not when it came to adding extra side quests, so this could very much hint at new content.
However, the confusion lies in the fact that CD Projekt RED is already busy with multiple projects, including a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and before that, The Witcher 4.
That being said, it may have handed a lot of responsibility over to Virtuous in the hopes of adding brand-new content to Cyberpunk 2077 in the meantime.
Regardless of what this job listing could mean, fans are feeling excited and took to r/GamingLeaksAndRumours to share their thoughts.

“DLC can be a small update or a mission,” user Anstark0 theorised.
“The game has some cut missions which are not in the game for some reason. They could reimplement them.”
Another user agreed, adding, “I’ll believe anything if it means we get more Cyberpunk content before 2030.”
Let us hope that we receive more information over the following months.
