Cyberpunk 2077 developer teases hidden content we've yet to find

We're not done yet

Just when we thought we were done with Cyberpunk 2077, they pull us right back in.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an absolutely massive game packed with secrets, but if you thought we'd found everything hidden in Night City, you were very much mistaken. Given CD Projekt RED has officially moved on from the game to focus on new projects, it's actually kind of heartening to know we have an excuse to comb through Cyberpunk 2077 again.

In a recent interview with IGN at GDC CD Projekt associate game director Paweł Sasko confirmed there are yet more secrets to uncover in Cyberpunk 2077.

Speaking about an article detailing all the secrets that have been found in the game so far, Sasko teased it was incomplete. "It had a long list, but it didn't have everything," he said.

Sasko admitted this doesn't mean they definitely haven't been found, just that they're not widely known about yet: "Someone could have found them in their home and never shared them with anyone, and we just never saw it."

In an age where it's entirely possible to simple crack open a video game and scour its code for every last secret, it's kind of cool to think we're still not done exploring Cyberpunk 2077. Elden Ring fans only just recently found that game's final secret, and we still have a huge expansion to come. It's a lovely thing, watching players come together to figure out these puzzles.

Undoubtedly the Cyberpunk 2077 community will take Sasko's comments as a challenge and uncover whatever Easter eggs remain hidden in a matter of days. We'll be sure to update you when they've been found. Then again, it took The Witcher 3 players seven years to find the fantasy RPG's final secret, so who knows when we'll finally be able to definitely say Cyberpunk 2077 has no more mysteries left?
