Now almost five years on from Cyberpunk 2077’s botched release, it’s pretty clear that CD Projekt Red is serious about continuously supporting it with new content.
But even taking new official updates and expansions into account, there are also the huge strides being made by Cyberpunk 2077 modding community to bring custom content into the game.
While CD Projekt Red may be keeping quiet about when the next update is, we at least have a new fan-made map expansion to dig our teeth into.
These mods actually make up a few different expansions, and when combined together, they enhance the Night City map in a way that makes the metropolis feel much more alive (thanks to DSOG for collecting these mods).

Club Atlantis Opened and Red Dirt Extended by BlackICE are two mods which remove barriers blocking certain areas inside these locations. It means that players can now explore various areas that were previously restricted.
These two mods are best combined with a few other mods for a deeper Night City experience. Gomorrah Night Club adds a full interior to Gomorrah for V to get their party one, while Lizzie’s Bar Enhanced brings an expansion to the front parking lot, restoring the basketball court, and even your own place to relax in.
Finally, Kerry's Recording Studio converts the unfinished room behind Kerry’s bar into a recording studio, which comes with a working coffee pot, two smart frames, as well as drum, keyboard, and microphone setups you can pose your characters with for photos.
Remember that mods can only be used with the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077, but you should be fine regardless of whether you play on Steam or GOG.

As for when the next official Cyberpunk 2077 update will come out, nothing has been confirmed from CD Projekt Red.
Update 2.3 released back in July, but we haven’t heard anything about a potential Update 2.4 yet.
