Cyberpunk 2077 fans desperate for their next fix of Night City living don't actually need to wait for the Phantom Liberty expansion later this month.

It's an incredibly exciting time to be a fan of Cyberpunk 2077, which isn't something we thought we'd be saying back in 2020. Phantom Liberty, the upcoming paid expansion, will make a ton of changes that include a complete graphical overhaul and a bunch of new gameplay features. As if that wasn't good enough, many of the biggest changes in Phantom Liberty will actually be available for everyone for free as part of the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update.

Take a look at Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below!

If everything coming in the official free update on 26 September somehow isn't enough for you, you can get your hands on a whopping 195 quests right now thanks to an incredible fan-made expansion. That should be enough to keep you busy for the next few weeks, right?

Cyberpunk 2077: Missing Persons adds a much more immersive way to locate all of Night City's Hidden Gems: secret caches that don't show up on the map and are impossible to locate via any other means beyond simply stumbling across them.

The Missing Persons mod changes this, by linking each of the game's Hidden Gems to a brand-new Fixer Quest designed to point you to exact location of the cache.

"This mod adds 195 new fixer gig's with over 400+ new SMS messages to walk you through finding the 195 Hidden Gems built in the to the vanilla game," the mod's creator explains. "They will be given one at a time by their respective district's fixer and provides a map waypoint to help find the goal. Offers Euros, XP, and SC for gig completion."

It's worth noting that tracking down these caches isn't actually required for full completion of Cyberpunk 2077, but if you want to squeeze a little more life out of the game ahead of Phantom Liberty and maybe see some areas of Night City you missed the first time round, this is a great mod for that.
