Brendan Fraser Fan Thanks Him For "Awesome Childhood", And His Response Is Too Pure

Protect Brendan Fraser at all costs

I've said it before and I'll say it again: we must protect Brendan Fraser at all costs.

The star of classic adventure movies like The Mummy and George Of The Jungle has been enjoying an incredibly well-deserved career comeback, and fans old and new have been more than happy to celebrate it with him.

Last year, Fraser got all choked up in a now-viral TikTok that showed him genuinely taken aback by the news that so many people loved him and wanted him to succeed. That humble, down-to-Earth attitude is just one of the many reasons he's so well-liked, and it was on full display again at a recent fan event.

Fraser was in attendance at Calgary Expo in Canada last week, meeting fans and signing autographs. Obviously there's no better place for an actor to realise how many fans they actually have, but Fraser still managed to seem entirely genuine and grateful when presented with such adoration.

One TikToker was quick to share her particularly wholesome experience with the star at the expo, as you can see in the video above!

The TikToker, who goes by @imani.goulet, uploaded footage of herself in line waiting for Fraser to sign a Funko figure of himself.

Fraser was, of course, charm personified. The two managed to share a brief connection over the woes of people mispronouncing their names, but the nature of a fan convention means the line has to keep moving.

Just before leaving, however, Imani managed to thank Fraser for an "awesome childhood"... at which point he burst into a wide grin and offered her a fist bump. A fist bump from Brendan Fraser. Just imagine such a thing.

"Everyone always says to never meet your heroes," she wrote in the caption of her video. "I met mine and we almost burst into tears talking to each other. thank you for everything Brendan!"

Like I said: protect Brendan Fraser at all costs.
